Ngā Tātai Kōrero o Aotearoa - Ngā Akoranga Ngaio

Waitangi Treaty Grounds welcomes you on a journey of discovery through Aotearoa, New Zealand’s most important historic site. The full-day programme includes a 2.5 hour Aotearoa New Zealand’s Histories Workshop, a private guided tour of the Treaty Grounds, time to explore Te Kōngahu Museum of Waitangi, Te Rau Aroha Museum of the Price of Citizenship and a cultural performance. Please advise of dietary requirements for catering purposes.

The Workshop aims to:

  • Examine your school’s current position in relation to their understanding of our histories
  • Gain an overview of the ANZH curriculum content from Years 1 to 10
  • Explore specific, cross-curricular learning activities related to Tino Rangatiratanga me te Kāwanatanga | Government and Organisation
  • Consider different ways to grow your resources for Aotearoa New Zealand’s histories
